Esta es una historia real. El amor de un padre por su hijo. Lee la
introduccion y después el video.

El hijo preguntó a su padre, 'Papa, puedo participar en una maratón
contigo?'. El padre, a pesar de haber tenido problemas de corazón le dijo
que si. Completaron el maratón y disfrutaron de muchos otros llegando
siempre juntos a la meta. Un día, el hijo le pidió participar en el Ironman
y el padre le volvió a contestar que si

Para aquellos que no lo sepan, el Ironman es la prueba de triathlon mas dura
que existe. La carrera tiene 3 pruebas diferentes. Una carrera a nado en el
mar de 3.86 kms, seguido de 180.2 kms en bici y para terminar 42.19 kms de
maratón a lo largo de la costa de Big Island. Padre e hijo completaron la
carrera y llegaron juntos a la meta.

10 cosas que todo adolescente deber�a saber / 10 things a teenager should know

Recientemente Bill Gates pronunció un discurso en un instituto americano acerca de diez cosas que los adolescentes no aprenden en la escuela. Habló de cómo “la política educativa de la vida fácil para los niños” ha originado una generación sin concepto de la realidad y cómo esta política ha llevado a las personas a fallar en sus vidas después de la escuela.

1.- La vida no es justa, acostúmbrate a ello.

2.- Al mundo no le importará tu autoestima. El mundo esperará que logres algo, independientemente de que te sientas bien o no contigo mismo.

3.- No ganarás 5000 dólares mensuales justo después de haber salido de la preparatoria y no serás un vicepresidente hasta que con tu esfuerzo te hayas ganado ambos logros.

4.- Si piensas que tu profesor es duro, espera a que tengas un jefe. Ese sí que no tendrá vocación de enseñanza ni la paciencia requerida.

5.- Dedicarse a cocinar hamburguesas no te quita dignidad. Tus abuelos tenían una palabra diferente para describirlo: le llamaban Oportunidad.

6.- Si metes la pata, no es culpa de tus padres, así que no lloriquees por tus errores: aprende de ellos.

7.- Antes de que nacieras, tus padres no eran tan "aburridos" como son ahora. Ellos empezaron a serio por pagar tus cuentas, limpiar tu ropa y escucharte hablar acerca de la nueva onda en la que estabas. Así que, antes de emprender tu lucha por las selvas vírgenes contaminadas por la generación de tus padres, inicia el camino limpiando las cosas de tu propia vida; empezando por tu habitación.

8.- En la escuela puede haberse eliminado la diferencia entre ganadores y perdedores, pero en la vida real no. En algunas escuelas ya no se pierden años lectivos y te dan las oportunidades que necesites para encontrar la respuesta correcta en tus exámenes y para que tus tareas sean cada vez más fáciles. Eso no tiene ninguna semejanza con la vida real.

9.- La vida no se divide en semestres. No tendrás vacaciones de verano largas en lugares lejanos y muy pocos jefes se interesarán en ayudarte a que te encuentres a ti mismo. Todo esto tendrás que hacerlo -si lo deseas - en tu tiempo libre.

10.- La televisión no es la vida diaria. En la vida cotidiana, la gente de verdad tiene que sal del café, de la película, para irse a trabajar.

Posdata.- Sé amable con los empollones de tu clase. Hay muchas probabilidades de que termines trabajando para uno de ellos.

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about ten things teenagers will not learn in school. He spoke about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation with no concept of reality and how this set them up for failure in the real world:

1: Life is not fair - get used to it.

2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.

3: You will not make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to anything in real life.

9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

10: Television is not real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

F.M. Oviedo Roller y H.C. Liceo, se han clasificado para disputar la fase final del Campeonato de España de Infantiles.
El equipo liceísta tuvo que esperar hasta la última jornada para disputar la segunda plaza con equipo anfitrión H.C. Raxoi en un torneo caracterizado por una gran igualdad.

Del 10 al 12 de abril se podrá ver en Santiago el mejor hockey infatil del noroeste peninsular.

Dos equipos asturianos, Centro Asturiano, F.M. Oviedo Roller, y cuatro gallegos H.C.P.C. Dominicos, C. Compañía de María, H.C. Liceo y H.C. Raxoi disputarán en el pabellón de Vite el Sector Noroeste del Campeonato de España de Infantl. Los equipos se enfrentarán todos contra todos y los dos primeros tendrán como recompensa la clasificación para la fase final del Campeonato de España.

From 10 to April 12 will be shown in Santiago the best freshman's hockey in the northwestern of spanish peninsula.

Two teams from Asturias, Centro Asturiano, F.M. Oviedo Roller; and four from Galicia H.C.P.C. Dominicos, C. Compañía de María, H.C. Liceo and H.C. Raxoi will compite at Vite' pavilion for the Northwest Sector of the Championship of Spain (freshman category). The teams will face all-out and the first two will be rewarded for the final classification of the National's Championship.

El Sector de Infantiles en Santiago - Interregionals at Santiago

El Hockey Club Raxoi organizará el Sector Noroeste del Campeonato de España de Infantiles del 9 al 12 de abril. Los mejores equipos asturianos y gallegos se enfrentarán en Vite en busca del pasaporte que les lleve a la fase final del Campeonato de España.

El H.C. Raxoi cuenta con el apoyo de las instituciones compostelanas y de iniciativa privada para la organización de una competición que por vez primera se celebra en la capital gallega.

The Hockey Club Raxoi will host the Northwest Finals of The Spanish Championships U-15 from april 9th to the 12th. The best teams from Galicia and Asturias will face in in Vite in order to search the passport that carries them to the Spanish Championship Finals.

The H.C. Raxoi has the support of institutions of Santiago and private investors for organizing this competition for the first time held in the Galician capital.
